Indiana has become the first state in a decade to pass union-busting legislation under the rubric of “Right to Work”.
The issue, however, is alive in multiple states: related anti-labor legislation has been enacted in Arizona, the fight has raged in New Hampshire, and it is heating up in Minnesota and Michigan.
In Wisconsin we saw basic rights taken away from public sector workers. In Ohio other sectors, such as the building trades, were also under the gun. Where “right to work” looms, everyone is under the gun.
