Crystal Lee Sutton, the original "Norma Rae," dies at 67

 Crystal Lee Sutton, the Southern textile mill worker whose fight to organize her fellow workers was documented in the Oscar-winning 1979 film Norma Rae, died September 12 after a long battle with brain cancer. Two labor leaders, Workers United President Bruce Raynor and United Steelworkers President Leo Gerard, have posted statements on Sutton's life and legacy.
