Labourstart, the international labor news aggregator, today launches a labor photo contest. The winning photos will be voted on by Labourstart readers and by a panel of judges. The winner gets a 2 year pro account on Flickr, and all the finalist entries will be publicized on the Labourstart site. Deadline is Sept. 30, 2009.
Labourstart editor Eric Lee writes: "We're doing this because we want to encourage and recognize the talents of worker-photographers around the world, and at the same time to encourage them to tell the stories of our struggles in photos."
