A wind power company has announced it will not use $400 million in federal stimulus dollars to offshore jobs to China, according to the IBEW's blog. The wind turbine plant will be built in Texas, a reversal that came following public outcry over the initial plan. While this is a victory for adding green jobs to the US economy, there is still much to be done to make sure these are good union jobs.
